Not only is effective cavity wall insulation good for your home, it is good for your pocket and good for the environment.

Installing cavity wall insulation is probably the most effective energy saving step you can take. After all, 6 million home owners can't be wrong! It is a widely know fact that up to 35% of heat loss in a home can be through the external walls. By installing insulation you will save on your heating costs for many years to come. Your carbon footprint will also be significantly reduced as a result, producing far less Carbon Dioxide.

Around 5 million homes still have empty cavities that could have cavity wall insulation installed, allowing the occupants to enjoy a warmer and cheaper to heat house. Various Grants and schemes are available to help with the cost, so there really is no reason not to benefit.
Services
The company was established in 1976 by Ray Ingledew and we take pride in providing a quality, efficient and friendly service to our customers.
We also installed the UK's five millionth home with Cavity Wall Insulation as part of the government's Warm Front initiative, and former PM Tony Blair assisted.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair did his bit to reduce the UK's greenhouse - gas emissions by helping inject insulation into the cavity of the five millionth house to be insulated by this means.
As a result, the annual heating bill of Mrs Joan Harrison of Chilton, Ferryhill, County Durham, is expected to be reduced by over 20%.
A fully insulated loft with a thickness of 300mm can save you up to 25% on heating your home.
Loft Insulation is easily installed by our trained fitters in less than half a day.
It will be laid in a criss-cross formation to get the maximum benefit thus ensuring that there are no gaps for the heat to escape.
On completion, your home will be more energy efficient, more comfortable, and easier to keep warm.
We can insulate homes with different cavity specifications such as hard to treat/narrow cavity and partial fill.
Q: How long will it take?
A: Between two to three hours for a three bed roomed semi-detached house.
Q: Will it make a mess?
A: No.
The insulation is injected from the outside, so the installers will not be working in the house.
Q: What do they use as insulation?
A: The material used will most likely be mineral wool (or Isowool).
It is properly accredited as a building material, guaranteed by the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA), and will be installed by a certified installer.
The Carbon Reduction Obligation is a community fund called the Carbon Saving Community Obligation (CSCO).
CSCO is aimed at homes in areas of high deprivation and will also primarily focus on insulation and heating measures.
If you are a home owner or a private tenant(s) and you are NOT in receipt of any qualifying benefits but live in a Government chosen postcode area, then you are entitled to have energy efficient measures installed in the property FREE of any charge to yourself or your landlord.
